1. Temple Exploration and Cultural Gems: Discovering Wat Arun and Wat Pho in Bangkok

Exploring the magnificent temples, or 'Wats,' is a must when you're in Bangkok. With over 400 temples in total, we recommend visiting at least two of the larger temple complexes. Some of the most stunning ones include Wat Pho, Wat Phra Kaeo (Grand Palace), and Wat Arun.

Explore a collection of beautifully adorned temples and iconic Buddha statues in this vibrant city. One notable highlight is the colossal reclining Buddha at Wat Pho Temple in Bangkok.

Keep in mind that when visiting the temple grounds, it's essential to dress appropriately. Otherwise, you may need to borrow garments at the temple entrance to ensure you meet the dress code requirements. Remember that clothing should cover both knees and shoulders, and it's advised not to wear belly-revealing attire.

If you wish to enter a temple, you'll also need to remove your shoes, which is usually indicated by clear signs. The entrance fee for Wat Pho Temple is 200 Baht, and to explore Wat Arun Temple, you'll need to pay 100 Baht.

The convenient part about these temple complexes is that they are located close to each other, allowing you to visit both in a single day.

2. Grand Palace: The Magnificent Heart of Bangkok

The Grand Palace Bangkok was constructed in 1782 during the reign of King Rama I.

His aim was to revive the Siamese Kingdom after the Burmese had destroyed the old capital, Ayutthaya, 15 years earlier. The Grand Palace is an absolute must-visit for anyone in Bangkok, boasting a fascinating history, rich culture, and breathtaking architecture.

Bangkok's skyline at night is a sight not to be missed. Visit one of the exclusive rooftop bars, such as the 'Sky Bar' at Lebua State Tower or the Vertigo & Moon Bar (considered one of the best cocktail bars in the world) to savor cocktails in a luxurious atmosphere and take in the breathtaking view of the sparkling city.
